On today’s “2013 International Cloud Computing Conference”, Liu Duo, vice-president of MIIT Research Department disclosed that the scale of Chinese public cloud computing market may total to 4.76 billion RMB by the end of 2013. Compared to 2012, the growth rate is declined a little bit to 36%.

Liu also said the domestic cloud computing industry showed different characteristics in three classic frameworks(SaaS/PaaS/IaaS).

On SaaS, though the general market pattern is growing mature , the leader has not surfaced yet.

On PaaS, in these years Tencent, Baidu, Sina, Alyun, etc. successively provided open platform services but the their market share still remained sparse.

And on IaaS, the whole industry is still in an initial stage. Including Alyun, UCloud, ChinaCache, Jingdong, etc. Telecom operators and foreign-funded enterprises are ushering in.
